These terms govern use of The Union Hub. By opening an account or using the service, the Local and its authorized people agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Union Hub provides digital membership records for unions: member cards and verification, cases, collective agreements, dues, reports, and related features, according to the plan the Local selects.
A Local is responsible for the accounts it creates and for keeping access limited to the officers, stewards, and admins it authorizes. Access is granted by role. The Local must tell us promptly if an account is compromised.
The service is for legitimate union administration. Do not use it to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to access another Local's data, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend access that puts the service or its data at risk.
The roster and the records the Local keeps in the Hub belong to the Local. The Local can export its data at any time. We do not sell member data, and we handle it on the Local's instructions.
We work to keep the service available and secure. We may perform maintenance and update features. The service is provided as is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, The Union Hub is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
A Local may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. On termination, the Local can export its data, and we delete or return it on request, subject to any legal retention the Local is bound by.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions can be sent to legal@theunionhub.ca.
